Diederik De Vilder is the founder and Managing Director of Ethesium.  Diederik has more than 25 years of research and analysis experience, acting as a trusted analyst to CEOs, Chairs, Partners and senior staff, delivering bespoke analysis and insight that contribute to revenue-building, relationship-strengthening and reputation-enhancing activities. ​Diederik has worked in advisory firms and large corporations where his analysis and insights have facilitated and empowered decision-making process for both clients and internal corporate teams.

​​Before founding Ethesium, Diederik was for 9 years the Director of Research and Analysis at Brunswick, the communications and critical issues advisory firm, where he worked with Partners, Directors and senior staff. ​​Prior to Brunswick, Diederik was an analyst at Barclays Corporate and Investment Banking for 10 years where he supported three Managing Directors and their front office sales teams with research and analysis. Earlier in his career, Diederik worked at market analysis firm Datamonitor in its Consultancy division in London, and before that, he worked for market analysis company Euromonitor.

Diederik holds an MBA from Westminster Business School and speaks mother-tongue standard English and Dutch. He is also proficient in French and has a strong working knowledge of German.
